Emily and Johnny's Wedding Album

You might remember Emily and Johnny; they got married in June 2019 at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, and had their reception in Emily’s parents’ backyard in Chaska. Emily and Johnny’s wedding day was all about spending time outside with their friends in a really relaxed, carefree, backyard setting. With a campfire, their dog running around, yard games, and a stunning sunset, their wedding day was both super lovely and laidback. From the start of our time working together, Emily and Johnny shared that they were really excited about creating wedding art! Their wedding day had so many chapters, from their first outlook underneath the trees, to wedding pictures with friends and family, to hanging out with their loved ones during the reception. I got to document that in a narrative format and tell the story of their wedding day in their wedding album!

Emily and Johnny chose a large, rectangular 50-page wedding album (my most popular album size) with a sandy linen cover. They customized their album cover with a window in the front showing a detail picture of their wedding rings and wedding bouquet. The aesthetics of the album feels really aligned with the organic, natural, easygoing feel of their wedding day! 

They also chose to make two parent albums which are miniature versions of the full wedding albums -- same layout, same pictures, just in a smaller format. They’re super charming, and parents always go bananas over them! They make such a special parent gift.
