My shiny new office space! (Plus, the most romantic of wall galleries)

I've never been so excited for Mondays. Sunday nights, I find myself in a happy tizzy, making mental lists of the first things that I want to do when I log on to work on Monday. Once I'm up Monday morning, I settle down at my desk with a cup of coffee and soy milk, and I get this excited little buzz in my belly: I'm so damn excited to sit at my desk (here, in my apartment!) and to get to devote my entire day to my photography work. It's a beautiful, beautiful thing to be finally working full-time for myself!

I get super nerdily excited about my annual marketing plan and my filing systems and organizing my calendar, and I love that I can focus on this and make this beautiful job my career. What an exciting, lovely, and completely blessed chapter of life this is.

Now that I've settled into my apartment and office a bit, I wanted to show you around my new office!

This is it! : ) My office is small, really just a wall within my apartment, but it's lovely to have a dedicated space for my work, and it's been really fun so far to bring clients over into my home and my workspace to meet with them, talk over ideas, and plan out their sessions. It's also super convenient having this space because I can easily show off my wall gallery options for clients to peruse and get a feel for what they can imagine fitting in to their own home decor styles.

Since today is a post for my Wedding Wednesday series, I wanted to highlight a couple of my types of wall gallery offerings that are romantic, earthy, and perfect for couples looking to celebrate one of their wedding or engagement images by hanging it on their wall. First up, I want to show off these way cool hanging canvases. Images are printed on a matte textured canvas, then hung from reclaimed barnwood and jute twine. It's a super beautiful option for the couple that wants a unique way to display a favorite image.

I also wanted to show off these gorgeous barnwood frames, made by the same company that creates the hanging canvases. These frames are made completely from reclaimed barnwood, and are a really stunning and natural option.  These frames have two panes of glass, so they're at their prime when paired with a torn-edge print like this that just floats effortlessly within the frame. It's a really elegant and romantic way to showcase a favorite wedding image, and my personal favorite wall gallery style!
