Creative Minnesota Outdoor Wedding Photography: Christina and Cornell at the Stillwater Rivertown Inn
Christina and Cornell are unique, artistic people who planned a creative Minnesota outdoor wedding that was un-traditional and true to their personalities in every way.
A Creative Minnesota Outdoor Wedding
They chose Stillwater’s Rivertown Inn (a historic victorian bed and breakfast) for their venue because they loved its cozy atmosphere, vintage decor, and beautiful outdoor gardens. Their ceremony was in the garden, surrounded by sculptures and a beautiful gazebo, and some perfect October foliage.
After their ceremony, we took a few portraits with their wedding party and immediate family (they only had about 20 folks attend their intimate ceremony!) and then the couple and I (along with my second-shooter, Tyler!) snuck out to a ridge overlooking the river and the city of Stillwater to capture some sunset portraits of the two of them. It was incredibly beautiful! The sun was setting, the sky was glowing, and Christina and Cornell were super relaxed and happy, which made for some really touching portraits. Scroll all the way down to the bottom of this post to check them out!
Cozy wedding reception in a Stillwater B&B
Christina and Cornell didn’t want their wedding to be a huge crazy affair – they surrounded themselves with a circle of close friends and family, skipped the traditional dancing and instead enjoyed a long dinner and coffee hour, exploring all the nooks and corners of the historic Rivertown Inn.
